A practical way to begin

A useful digital invitation does more than display a code. It explains who is invited, where to go and what to have ready. Rizi connects guest invitations and passes to event records so the reception workflow can look up the right person. Review the invitation design and event instructions before distributing it. Sending through email or messaging depends on the channel connection and its supported delivery workflow.

  1. Confirm the guest record and the event information.
  2. Preview the invitation on the phone your guest will use.
  3. Prepare reception to handle both readable codes and guest lookup.

Before you begin

Keep the code clear of decorative graphics. Include the date, venue and a concise arrival instruction, with a contact route for guests who need help.

How this connects to the rest of your event

Guest check-in and QR scanning

Check-in is the moment an invitation becomes a recorded visit. Use the event check-in screen to scan a guest pass or find the guest record and inspect the result before admitting the person. Prepare devices, permissions and the network before doors open. Give the team a separate route for uncertain records, duplicate scans and guests who cannot find their invitation, so one exception does not stop the main queue.

Guest lists and RSVP management

A guest list is the working record behind reception. Use it to find a person, inspect their details and prepare the right arrival instructions. RSVP describes an intention to attend; check-in records arrival. Keeping those stages distinct helps your team plan capacity and understand what happened after the event. Imported lists and new registrations need a consistent approach to names and contact details.

Event communication channel settings

The channels workspace keeps supported communication connections and sender settings together. Review the connection status, credentials and available sending workflow before preparing a campaign. Email and WhatsApp options do not have identical capabilities: use the actions the connected provider actually supports. A saved configuration is not proof that a message reached a guest, so keep delivery results separate from setup status.

Online RSVP and attendance confirmation

Know who plans to attend before the doors open. An online RSVP gives guests a clear invitation and a simple response journey, while your team prepares from recorded registrations and confirmations. In Rizi, start with a ready-made event page and its registration form, or use attendance-confirmation links in a configured invitation workflow. Keep the response deadline and a contact for changes visible. Review the guest record before using a confirmation for reception planning.

Questions before you start

Do I need to build the page from scratch?

No. Start with a complete ready-made design and edit the event essentials. Registration is connected to the event. Studio remains available for extra sections and individual layout changes.

Can the event page use more than one language?

Yes. The starters include English, Arabic, Spanish, French and German. Choose a main language and enable the editions your guests need. Review your own translated content before publishing.

Can I manage it myself or ask Rizi for support?

Use the platform with your own team, or discuss a White Glove proposal for invitation and guest-management support. Staffing, on-site responsibilities and optional services are agreed for your occasion.
